Aloft

Drone flight planning and airspace

About Aloft

Drone operations app with airspace maps, LAANC authorization requests, flight logging and fleet records for teams and solo pilots.

Aloft, formerly known as Kittyhawk, makes software for drone pilots and drone programs. Its apps show airspace on a map, let pilots request LAANC authorizations where the FAA allows them, and keep records of flights, aircraft and pilots in one account.

Solo pilots use it to check where they can fly before a job. Larger programs, such as public safety agencies, utilities and enterprises, use it to manage pilots, equipment, checklists and compliance records across a team.

An airspace map is a planning aid. Authorizations, waivers and temporary flight restrictions still come from the FAA, so confirm anything unusual through official channels before you fly. When you compare plans, check which drones sync logs automatically and how records can be exported for audits.
